WATERLOO LEAGUE - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2009:
The League AGM took place on Tues 12th May at 8pm at the Union Jack. All registered players in the League were encouraged to attend and all were welcome to submit motions. Minutes of the meeting & Chairmans report will be posted presently.
The AGM is an opportunity for League members to have their say, ask questions or make suggestions directly to the League’s committee. Suggestions must take the form of motions which need to be submitted beforehand (The submission deadline has now passed). Late motions will not be tabled and motions cannot be tabled on the day. If you need advice on writing motions please email Darren.
The AGM also deals with important open business such as: - the presentation and approval of the League’s accounts (find out where your money has gone!), - the approval of the League constitution (have your say on the league rules!) - the election of the League’s committee officers (get involved in the running of your league!).
Food will be provided!
After the AGM there was a short captains’ meeting to discuss proposed changes for next season. While this is going on other attendees will be kept entertained by some form of group competitive pool, e.g. killer or a speed pool competition.
