Stop-watches will be used as the 60-second rule is to be implemented.                Home team players will time each game, away team players will referee each game.

Summer league matches are played using the ‘Golden Cue’ format, requiring a minimum of three players per team. Barring substitutions on either side, each player will play each other and no player can play the same opponent twice.

The format is as follows:
Player 1 vs Player 1
Player 2 vs Player 2
Player 3 vs Player 3
Player 1 vs Player 3
Player 2 vs Player 1
Player 3 vs Player 2
Player 1 vs Player 2
Player 2 vs Player 3
Player 3 vs Player 1
There will be no deviation from this format.

Match sheets will be available to print from this website - Follow this Link.

Captains will name their STARTING THREE PLAYERS only in the first instance.         After the first round of games has been played (i.e. after three frames), captains are at liberty to make substitutions.
Further substitutions can be made after the second round of games (i.e. after six frames). Any player brought on is done so as a DIRECT SUBSTITUTE for another player, and assumes that player’s number and position in the order.

If a player is substituted, HE/SHE MAY NOT BE BROUGHT BACK ON TO PLAY.

All frames must be played. If a team decides not to complete its frames, then all unplayed frames will count as wins for the other team.

Matches are played according to World Rules.

The home team will act as Timekeeper for all games.                                           The away team will act as Referee for all games.                                                The referee’s decision is final.

All results should be emailed the following day to results@waterloopoolleague.co.uk. It is the responsibility of the winning captain to ensure that results are submitted.

All enquiries to the tournament organiser Darren O’Byrne on 07908 795 570.
